The Geelhoed Group realizes high-quality construction projects in collaboration with its partners; from urban development to private housing, apartments and resorts. The development and realisation of houses and apartments for diaspora will be realized by the Geelhoed Group.

What about the housing project development and it's property?

The locations Abuja / Lagos / Enugu are purchased and built by the local partner of the Geelhoed Group: the Chicason Group of Companies holdings.

Do the properties have approved building plans?

Yes, all the properties offered have approved building plans, with high quality.

What are the products available on offer?

Our offer provides in luxury Housing types (detached/semi detached- attached – apartments) in an environment with qualitative practical facilities.

What do you mean by enviroment with qualitative practical facilities?

The environment is based on an urban design which provides in main qualitative practical facilities such as shops, community buildings, healthcare posts, etc. The new residents will not be dependant onthe big city for the first facilities.

What sustainable amentities are available in all the estates?

In addition to good infrastructure, the planned amenity for our various estates varies, but generally include: water supply, electricity, state of the art landscape and a recreational centre, security, waste management.

How do I know the location of the properties on offer?

We have the locations available in the projects of Abuja, Lagos, Enugu. All the urban design has a friendly durable design and will be richly varied by greenery and water shape. What level of finishing will be provided within the housing project?

The two types of finishing on offer are:
I) Standard finishing – for buyers who want standard affordable houses.
II) Premium finishing – for buyers who wants premium finishing

What if I want to change the interior of my home/house?

The external façade of all houses cannot be changed but the interior can be changed as the houses provided have been carefully designed to confirm to the general style of the entire estate and have been approved accordingly by the different government regulatory agencies.

What are the plans for security on site?

Public access to all our various estates are limited to only invited and approved guests. Our estates are fenced and gated, also adequate security patrol personnel are employed to man the grounds and the estate.

What is the source of power supply on all housing plans?

The source of power is from Power Holding Company of Nigeria (“PHCN”) the main agency/organization governing the use of electricity in Nigeria.

Will all GG estate have a desginated facility manager?

All our various estate are well managed by accomplished facility managers provided by the GG to ensure good quality of living and safeguard against degradation that plagues other residential estate.

Are there any homeowner service charge payable?

Each homeowner of a compound or an apartment is required to pay the mandated yearly/annual service charge levy for the good maintenance of the various estates and services offered to the various house owners.

How do I buy?

Because the GG has various estates spread across different geographic regions, we advise the buyer/clients to follow these simple steps:

IV) In coöperation with our real estate agents the GG will give you a detailed information on the property you want.

V) Schedule a visit to see the property with a member of ROA staff/ go on your own and call us if you have any question.

VI) For buyers in diaspora, you may choose to request your contact person to visit the site with our staff and get back to you.

VII) The GG gives you a formal letter of offer for the property.

VIII) Discuss payment plan and pay according to payment plan.

Is there any discount payment?

Some discount can be arranged for buyers that opt for outright payment.

What is the tittle of the property or land?

Most of our projects have Certificate of Occupancy (“C of O”).

What title documents will be given after buying the chosen property?

Depending on the project, we will be giving each subscriber:

I) Contract of Sales

II) Deed of Partitioning or Deed of Assignment
Please note that for subscribers to our Lugbe – Abuja project, a Certificate of Occupancy would be issued to each subscriber by Federal Capital Development Authority (“FCDA”) and NOT a Deed of Partitioning.

Are there other charges or statutory fees payable in addition to the sale price of the property?

The charges or statutory fees varies according to the properties and the geographical location. Charges to be paid include: (i) infrastructure fee, (ii) setting out fee, (iii) legal and admin, (iv) agency fee etc are charges payable depending on the project. However, buyers are also required to pay statutory fees which include but not limited to VAT, ground rent, Tenement rate etc.

Do prospective subscribers have to pay fees before inspecting the property?

No!

Do subscribers pay for survey plan?

Subscribers will pay for their individual survey plan.

What are the terms and conditions of the property?

There will be terms and conditions that will be clearly spelt out in the offer letter.

Is there any payment plan required?

There is payment plan specific to each project development.
